Uniforms

Cathedral High School educates the whole young woman. We believe that the dress code is an integral part of elevating a student’s expectations for herself and shapes an environment that is conducive to learning. A dress code achieves the following:

• To help establish and maintain proper academic tone within the school community.
• To provide financial relief for parents/guardians.
• To reduce superficial competitiveness in dress among students and to support the dignity of the individual based on character rather than appearances.
• To instill good grooming habits and neatness in appearance.

The school administration reserves the right to revise the dress code at any time it deems necessary and to make all final judgments regarding the appropriateness of a student’s attire and appearance.

The school uniform must be worn to and from school. Students must wear the uniform school slacks or skirt along with shirt and blazer/sweater at all times, where applicable. Please refer to our school website at cathedralhs.org/uniforms for specific uniform requirements. Any student out of dress code will face disciplinary measures. Skirts must be past fingertip length.

Freshman and Sophomore, Year-Round:

• Navy girls slacks with logo and/or
• Navy mid-weight wrap around kilt and/or blue white & black plaid wrap around kilt*
• Banded long sleeve and/or short sleeve oxford blouse with Logo on pocket
• Navy blue blazer with seal on pocket
• 1/4 zip pullover sweater (navy or charcoal) with school logo (optional)
• Turtleneck with school logo (optional)
• Gym uniform
• *Any student wearing a skirt must wear appropriate tights (No designs, knee highs
  or thigh highs).

 Junior and Senior, Year-Round:

• Charcoal girls slacks with logo and/or
• Grey mid-weight wrap around kilt and/or grey plaid wrap around kilt*
• Banded long sleeve and/or short sleeve oxford blouse with logo on pocket
• Navy blue blazer with seal on pocket
• 1/4 zip pullover sweater (navy or charcoal) with school logo (optional)
• Turtleneck with school logo (optional)
• Gym uniform
• *Any student wearing a skirt must wear appropriate tights (No designs, knee highs
  or thigh highs).

The cost of a uniform for two years is approximately $250-$300.
