Regents LOTE Exam (Language Other Than English Exam)

  

Students are required to have completed two units of study in a Language Other Than English (LOTE).  One unit of credit can be earned by passing a proficiency exam in eighth grade.

ADVANCED PLACEMENT COURSES

Cathedral High School offers several Advanced Placement Courses in Senior and Junior years.  Due to the level of difficulty and the volume of material in these courses, a student who chooses an AP course and her parent/guardian must sign a contract with the chairperson of the department.

The contract will state that under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will a student be allowed to withdraw from an AP course once the next school year begins.
