 Text Box: Volunteers Needed!      CHS is a community of parents, students, teachers, faculty, friends and alumnae.  We rely on this community daily.      We are currently looking for talented alumnae in the fields of marketing, and public relations who can volunteer their expertise and time to our development committee.  We are also looking for alumnae in the fields of law and accounting who can volunteer their time to our foundation board.       The Development Committee's goal is to increase enrollment and funding for current and potential students.  Members work together in the planning of our Annual Hall of Fame event, and other alumnae events held throughout the year as well as developing new programs and/or events that will increase our school's visibility, enrollment, and financial status..  Meetings are held once a month here at the school.       The Cathedral High School Spires Foundation was created for the benefit of Cathedral High School.  The foundation supports our academic programs and our scholarship/tuition assistance funds.  Members are responsible for managing the foundation's funds and distribution of these funds.  At least two meetings are required each year; all other meetings are on need basis.      Please consider joining the Cathedral community by volunteering your time to one of our committees.  Your time and services will be repaid with the knowledge that you are helping us ensure that the Cathedral tradition of Excellence in Education continues to thrive.     Please contact Mrs. Rivera in the development office at 212-688-1545, ext. 225 if you can volunteer.  I hope to hear from you soon!
