Cathedral High School                                                Celebrating 100 Years of Excellence!

Centennial Closing Ceremony

On May 20th, 2006 CHS Alumnae gathered once again in celebration of Cathedral High School’s Centennial Anniversary.
On this day, we concluded what has been a year long tribute to all who have been a part of
Cathedral High School’s 100 years in Education.

The day began with a Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. When Mass was over and the great big doors of the Cathedral opened, our alumnae were happily surprised to be greeted by our award win
ning Marching Band.

Alumnae continued the celebration at a festive luncheon held at Cathedral High School. Friends who hadn’t seen each other in years, were happy to have the time to reminisce about their school days. They were also happy to see some of their former teachers in attendance.

We thank our wonderful centennial committee: (from left to right): Mary Waters ‘45, Kay Hallacy ‘46, Dorothy Breedy Sargeant ‘56, Cathy Kane Hartdegan’55, Marvita Davis ‘74, Elizabeth Santeramo ‘88, Florence Ressegue ‘73, Sue Ann Hoahng ‘74, Adelfa Vera-Angel ‘68, and Zenaida Matos Santoli’68 (not pictured). We thank them for all of their hard work this past year. They worked tirelessly to ensure that every celebration was a success, and we are truly appreciative of this.

We hope that all of the friendships that were renewed this past year will continue to flourish for years to come. For those who came back to Cathedral after a long absence, we say Welcome Back and Welcome Home.
